Sally Hansen's Crackle Overcoat is similar to OPI's Shatter . I've tried the Shatter and I think it works great. I recently tried out the Crackle and here's the result. . .

I personally like the Shatter best, but both seem to work great. The Shatter, to begin only had black, while the other companies came out with other colors. Now Shatter has more selection, and I like OPI the best out of all the brands. ( Sally Hansen is my 2nd) . . .

Winter is Here!

Yaaaay! Winter is finally here (I hope)! Yesterday, actually the day before, it started in on the rain. It hasn't poured any kind of water here for while. I was starting to wonder. Well, it's been pouring for the past two days. Yesterday, while at school you, you know doin 'the ushe' and wearing jeans, my feet were freezing. I have those sport tennis shoes, with the mesh so the air circulates through the shoe. Well, not really ideal for wet weather. My feet were soaked by the time I got home and my pants were wet up to my calfs. Geeshers. I'm soooo happy it's winter-ish though!!! (: I love the air after it's rained and you can smell the freshness. Awww. Yesh.
Anyways, today you could hear the rain pound on the roof, it was so heavy and then the lights flickered too. It's messin with the cell service in the valley too. Haha, I'm glad I'm in the hills.
This morning, I woke up at like 7:30 this morning because Sally, decided that was enough sleeping in. Thankfully, she went back to sleep. We woke up again at about 9:30am and.. . .. . . it was snowing!!! Yay!! I just hope it doesn't snow to much that the power goes out or something bummer-like. If they had to cancel school on final days, that'd be okay. ;)

"The Vow" a new movie out February 10, 2012, just in time for Valentine's Day sounds so good!! It stars two of my favorite actors, Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum. The romance is about married couple Leo and Paige, who get into a car accident. Paige gets into a coma and loses her memory of Leo, her parents and her ex-finance. Leo tries to win Paige's heart back and and rebuild their marriage. Sounds soooo good!! Definitely on my "Movies to See" list!! (:

The Bachelor Ranting & Some Raving

Okay, who watches The Bachelor?? I love that show. It's great the drama, the romanitc dates, all that mushy stuff. The drama between all the girls is very entertaining and annoying. I mean like last night they brought back Shawntel because Brittney left (you know the one that brought her grandma?). So she walks in and all the girls are like "Who's that?!?". Then they're all like "If he gives her a rose, I'm gunna look at him way differntly". I mean Honey, you've known Ben for what two weeks, and you know you're falling in love and that she's the wrong girl for him??? No. And it's not Shawntel's fault either that all this dramas goin' down. SO at the Rose Ceremony, there's like three girls sobbing because they're scared they won't get a rose. Drama Queen Courntey, is being all beachy to Ben, after he asks her if she'll accept the rose. Seriously?? I'd be like "Beach, give me rose back!" Hahaa.. .But really. That girl is pychotic. Every season there's either an obbsessive, 'I'm the one for you' girl or one that has drama issues with all the other girls and comes off to be mentally unstable. Geeshers. I don't know why I love the show so much, but it's very entertaining! Anyways, right before Bens about to give out the last rose, one of the girl passes out. Right before. Really people, really?? So he never picked Shawntel or the sobbing girl, or the one that passed out. Bummer dayz, hahahh. . . Still love that show.

I tell ya, Sally is the cutest doggy everrr!!! She's very energetic, but so sweet. Sally loves playing ball, tug-of-war, chewing on anything. She eats anything. Oranges, watermelon, grapes any fruit she loves. She'll eat wood, plastic (**grrrr**), when she's bored she'll start to gnaw on her feet. She's a silly, very entertaining critter.

Okay, so my mom was on a blog last night about a lady that got this bottle for Christmas. She didn't know what is was, but apparently it works great. People's Choice Awards

Tonight is the People's Choice Awards!!! My friend is over so we can watch it, it's kinda like tradition . .. So far in about every category, the person we never thought would have won, won. Geshers, hahah, it's been a good time though! Some people we did want to win, won, so that's good. Faith Hill did a great job I think performing and Demi Lovato, well not so much. Just sayin'. Is It Winter Yet?

Well, it's nearing the end of January already, and it hasn't really snowed. . .(or rained) yet. Weird??? I think yes. Usually at this time, there's about 3 feet of snow or there's been 3 feet of snow. School gets cancelled because the power goes out, we can't get out of the house (or driveway) for days and spend all day sledding and hanging out drinking hot chocolate. I was looking forward to those days in August. Hopefully it at least rains soon and maybe snow a little **wink wink**.

As most of you may realize, kids these days are growing up faster than normal. Now I'm not one to talk because, well. . . whatever, I'm going to talk anyways. (FYI: I DON NOT follow these trends, blehh). . .I mean you go out and you see seven year olds, in racy graphic tees or skinny jeans. I mean no offensive to people who do dress their kid like that, but really?! Or going out to the beach/pool and the 18 month old is wearing a bikini (aka Babekins). I mean seriously. Also, a six year old in hot pants and Uggs, is very unappealing. Geeshers.
TV is supporting these bad fashion trends too. Shows like Toddlers in Tiaras. I mean don't get me wrong, I think it's a very entertaining show, but is you've ever seen it the girls are a little too dressed up.

Well. . .we did it!! 2012 a new year to start fresh. I hope everyone has a fantabulous (and safe) New Year!!! Right now at 2:09am I am up with my best friend finishing up watching Dick Clark's New Years Rockin' Eve. We watched the ball drop in Times Square and everything!! Hahah, she said that she hasn't seen the ball drop because it was either too foggy to see or she was out of the room when it happened. I hate to admit it, but that's kinda funny right?? Homemade Cookies

Tonight, well yesterday night I started to make Spiral Cookies, I found from Pinterest. Two day process, I guess you could finish them in one day, if you got up early. I'm no early bird, so I did them later. First, I made the dough and separated it in two. Put some food coloring in one piece ( did't have flavor extract...). Then put in the fridge to cool down, take out later and roll. Then back into the fridge on a cookie sheet. I let them sit overnight and then put the colored sheet on top of the white one and rolled into a tube, then rolled in sprinkles. I put them in the freezer, so it'd get harder, faster. Afterwards, I took them out, cut into slices and baked. The website explains it much better. . . .
They turned out very festive. . .

Not December yet people. It's not even November yet and stores are already selling holiday decor and gifts?!?!? Wow, that's amazing. Snowmen, trees, and reindeer are supposed to be saved until December. I can see people wanting to buy them ahead of time, but really this early? By next year holiday stuff is gunna be out in September!!
Yepp well it's not just merchandise that's out early, Justin Bieber -_- has a holiday single out called "Mistletoe". No offense to him, but I think he's weird. I mean the kid (used to) have long, side-swept hair and has a nail polish collection. Is it just me or is a teenage boy with a nail polish collection a little strange? . . . .That's right, straaaaange. Even if it's just to make money nad increase fan status, still strange. I also thinks it's weird that in some of his songs, he says "shawty". Okay, only people like Usher and Sean Kingston can say that dude.
So, we just went from early Christmas decorations to Justin Bieber. Wow, haha.

Test Run of Cake Pops

Tonight we decided to try out the cake pop pans and make our own cake pops. For those of you that don't know what a cake pop is, it's about a 1 inch ball of cake on a stick dipped in melted decorating candy or chocolate. You can decorate them ANY way you want. From plain colors, to sprinkles to intricate designs, it's all up to you. I think they're sooooo fun!!! I can't wait to try out new designs! Bakerella has some 'sweet' cake pop art.

Google + vs. Facebook

Google's new social networking feature Google + (plus) is basically like Facebook. You can share your experiences (photos, links, etc.) with group of the right people. In stead of 'lists' there are 'circles'. Instead of the famous 'like' is now a '+1'. I find now on google.com when I search anything, there's a +1 button on everything. Even websites that usually have a FB 'like' or a Twitter 'tweet' button, now have a Google + '+1' button. On the contrary to FB or MySpace [by the way, who uses MySpace anymore????], you can start video conversations with up to nine people. 'Sparks' keep you up-to-date on differnt interests. There's even games.It seems you have more privacy control on Google + than FB nowadays. .
Multiple people I know are contemplating whether or not to delete their FB accounts and goin' full time on Google +, because they feel they have no control anymore over who sees what, and what they want to see on their Newsfeed and so on. Valid point. So as FB makes more changes on their website, trying to make it more personal and such, I wonder what will happen in the near future. Rumors on FB say that they're going to charge soon, but that's been going on for like a year now. I personally think it's a bunch of bull pucky. For one, on FB's sign-up page, it's clearly says "Free, and always will be." Two, it's been goin' around for a year. I think they would've done it already. Geez people, don't believe and re-post things just because your friends did. Don't give into peer pressure. Hahaha. .
However, to me Facebook is still a great way to keep-in-touch with old friends and see photos of things you probably would've missed without. Almost eveyone has a FB account nowadays too, or soon will.
I personally like both FB and Google + [even though I haven't quite figured out all it's features..], but I think FB will always be the more popular one.

I loooove autumn out of all the seasons, it's my personal fav. The temperatures just right.. not to hot, not to cold. Right before chilly winters and right after heat-exhausting summers.

Permit!!

Yaaaay!!!!!!! :D Today my mom and I went into the CA DMV so I could take my driver's permit test! I was nervous about not passing the written test. (The eye test was easy. . .) Yeah so the DMV lady looked at my birth certificate and took my fingerprint and my picture and I took the 46 question test. Pretty much the whole time she was like, "Are you sure you want to do this? Once I type this in, you can't take it back.." I was just like 'Ye-ahh I'm pretty sure...' Then I asked how long I had to take the test and she's like 'Well, we close at 12:30...' It was funny. . .it was a you hada be there moment. .. .Anyways, I passed with 40/46. So that's pretty good. . .I think. I just can't wait til I get it signed by the behind-the wheel teacher so I can drive anywhere with an adult. .. Yaaay I'm sooo excited :D

School Ending. . . !!!

Wow, well there's only 10 days of school left. Finally NO homework!!! :) Yesssss. . . .Yesterday my 6th-10th grade AVID class went to College of the Redwoods to have a lil tour. It was fun, and short. We left the school right when it started and got there around 10am. The tour lady showed us the dorms and we gota little info on the police academy. Then we went to the library, and the bookstore and visited the financial aid office. It was a really short tour. Afterwards we went to Hometown Buffet and all had lunch there. Teacher let us have 40 minutes in the mall before we had to head home. My friends and I went to all the girly stores and the 6th grade boys went off and did who knows what. . .
On the long way home, we switched back and forth from 99.1 to 96.3 to make the ride shorter. .. We got back to school like 5minutes before the buses left. . .The whole way I was apparently sitting on a donut, so my jeans were all gross =[
Yesh, now tommorrow I go in and take my driver's permit test!!! I'm nervous and excited. It's like I gota pass, but it can't be thaaat hard. .. right?. .. Anyways, after I come back to school, I get to give my student council speech, since I'm running for secretary for next year =] .. . .

Yaaaay :) yesterday was mine and Tonya's last day of Hunter's Safety, we took the 100 question test and we bothe passed. :) I got a 82% and Tonya got somewhere in the 90%'s. It took a long time to wait for everyone too be done but to hours later, everyone finished and we gota know our scores. Then we waited a lil bit longer to get the little card that says we've passed. Tonya got hers like 3rd and I got mine second to last. Hahahahah, oh well. .. ;) But it was still cool to get it done!!!
Now sometime next week I'm gunna go into town to get my driver's permit!!! :) Yaaaaaay, I cannot wait. I realllllly hope I pass the first time!!!!
